Questions

Strategy: Use pre-framed questions to focus direction. Pre-framed questions make the client focus in a direction you want them. They can be used to qualify the sale, reduce objections or close the sale. A good example is, “Do not think about the color blue.” To not think about it, you must first imagine the color blue. We have focused your attention. Examples: How long have you been considering buying (X)?Why do you want to make this change? What will this mean to you in the future?Something must have caught your interest, what was it?What [Read More Now...]

Keeping Motivated in Trying Times

Strategy # 1: Interrupt the Pattern. Thoughts, can turn into physical responses, in your body. Stress, depression or frustration, can lead to physical responses in the body. SO interrupt the pattern, get away from the thoughts. Walk, Work out, or mediate. It will change body chemistry. Which in turn can affect your thoughts. A good run, often changes attitudes. Strategy # 2: Positive Replacement. For every negative thought, you think, you must come up with 2 positive perceptions. This will condition your mind to look for the positive in each [Read More Now...]

Market Bottom?

We will need to see, what happens in the next couple of days, but the market went a little sideways today. 2 side by side, dojis. A sign of indecision. Does not mean it is over, but a good start. Need to watch for the next few days. See if there is a pattern (i.e. flag, cup, island, double pipe bottom. Will be looking at asia and europe in the morning Friday. Just for a hint of USA action. But some times USA leads the way. Now a moment of caution, anyone that knows “flags, wedges, pennants” Also, know often the market flags, then [Read More Now...]

OK. Market Crashing!

So. Many of you know, I trade. One of my favorite trades is CREDIT SPREADS. A Cash flow system, the works well in most markets. Win 9 times out of 10. And occasionally need to adjust the trade if the market goes crazy. Which it has lately. Lots of folks, ask “whens it over?” “what do I do now?” Now, let me make this clear, I do not have any financial licenses (I did in the past), so I am not giving any financial advice or specific recommendations. As I do not know, if you have 10 bucks or 1 Million. But here are some [Read More Now...]

Language Patterns, Try to Resist…

Strategy: Try to resist. Use this piece of language to position your offer, product, sale or concept. “Try to resist this tempting offer.” The word try implies you will not be able to. Nice positioning for a price, a benefit or an offer. Try to resist the offer at the end of this book…if only you could. Strategy: You could notice how good it feels when you X. This language pattern implies you will feel good if you do X. X could be buying, taking the next step or agreeing to an appointment. “You could notice how good it feels when you [Read More Now...]

Refi your mortgage?

Wow. Historic low interest rates. That is a great time, to consider, a refi of your mortgage. Or even some investments. Now pretty much every financial advisor will tell you not to borrow to invest, it is actually on the Securities Test. But if you can borrow money at 3-6%, what could u do with it? That equity is not making you any money. Perhaps you could consider, stock, or commodities at all time lows? Or even consider Tax Liens and Deeds for those folks that might not pay their property tax this year. Or just lower your monthly payment. A [Read More Now...]

Using Personal Value and Leverage

Strategy: Use personal value and leverage to close. Leverage closing uses the power of a prospect’s values to sell them. First, you must know their values and make not purchasing the product or service go against their values. Let’s say you pride yourself on being intelligent and making sound decisions. What kind of impact does the following statement/close make? All the bright, young executives are buying this product, you’d be crazy not too. I know you’ll want to get it for use on Monday, right? (Spade Personality).Only people with [Read More Now...]

“Buy” Language Patterns

Language Pattern: Strategy: Can you buy that? Immediately after making a statement, introducing a benefit or responding to an objection, use this tag question. You may even want to point to your product for greater impact. The subliminal message will be received: to buy that…(whatever you are pointing at). Strategy: Buy now, you are… Start a sentence with the indirect command to buy now! It will focus people on making a decision immediately. If you use the language several times during your conversation, the human ear will listen to the [Read More Now...]

If Close and One Good Story

Closing Patterns and Techniques Strategy: Use the If? Close: The if Close is used against an objection to finalize the sale. Any objection is responded with: ü “If we resolve that issue, will you purchase today?” ü “If we meet that need, can we place the order today?” ü “So let me get this right. If you can get a gold key, you will move ahead. Ok. Sign the order, fill it in, I will go talk to Jim and see if he has any more” Once you have the final objection, use another closing technique to finalize the sale. Strategy: Use the [Read More Now...]

Alternative choice and Ben Franklin Closes

Strategy: Alternative Choice Close. One of the oldest and most effective closes is the alternative choice close. Rather than asking for the order, ask a question to which the answer is yes, or yes. üü Would you like that to start on Monday or the week after? üü Do you want add software or not? üü Are you thinking about the Gold or the Platinum program? üü Which program do you want to start with? The answer to the question is a sale no matter what. What are five alternative choices you can use in your business? Strategy: Use the Ben [Read More Now...]

Market is Crashing

For myself and some of my trading friends, we have been anticipating a pull back and crash for a while. Many of us, having protective puts, or plans if the market goes to the dark side. The market goes down 2 times faster than it goes up. That means, you loose fast or WIN fast. If you do not know, how to play the market time to learn. Lots of folks, lost 20 percent or more in their stock portfolio. It might take 2-4 years to get that back the slow way (investing in stocks or mutual funds for growth). There are much better ways. Tony Robbins Influence

I was interviewed recently, and asked the question, who had the greatest impact on you as a mentor and coach? Well, I had say, I have had some wonderful mentors. Personal Development (Brian Tracy, Les Brown, Tony Robbins, Tom Hopkins), Business (cliff Williams), Stock trading, Real Estate, Tax, Asset Protection and more. In fact, I have spent time with 50 plus millionaires and 3 billionaires. Always asking them what they believe, what they do, and more. It is the bases of my M2: Method and Mindset for MILLIONS book. Trust an Investment advisor or Trade Yourself?

I spent 6 years with a great financial and business mentor Charles Givens. He had over 500,000 members at one point, and did seminar all over the USA. On Oprah and dozen other shows too. He taught over 400 financial strategies. Had a couple great books. Wealth without Risk, More Wealth without Risk, Financial Self Defense and SuperSelf and SuperMind. Sound financial strategies. Originally, I believed in Mutual Funds. A no load product (which means no commissions). I really did not know much about trading. Except the concept of CANSLIM [Read More Now...]

Quick Update on January Barometer

The first 5 days were marginally down. But relatively sideways. Opened at 3257 close at 3253 5 days later. Approx. So, based on that we would expect a sideways pattern this year. 2020. About an 85% correlation since 1950. Now remember the whole month of January gives us a better indicator. 91 percent. So waiting it out. Looks like it will be an up year. If January continues up. Disclaimer. Past performance does not equal future performance. The January Barometer is not an absolute. And investment has risk. And remember, technical patterns are [Read More Now...]

If you are part of my Trading Inner Circle, you have access to my Credit Spread Trades, Adjustments, Covered Call strategies, and SPOT trades. Pretty much every year, in December I talk about the BEST 6 WEEKS to invest. December 1 (or first trading day), to January 15th. On average the market (Dow) goes up 9 percent during this 6 week period. Now buy the dow, would be hard. Just based on price. But we can buy the DIA (derivative of the dow). And options will give us leverage. Well. I posted this trade in early dec, just closed out jan 21. For [Read More Now...]

Events have NO meaning!

OK. We all have had life events happen. Lost of job, a death of someone close, debt, a failed relationship, or worst. Those events, can be looked at either one of two ways. Positive or Negative. Now someone is going to say how do you look at the death of someone you cared deeply about as positive. Well, my mum died in her 70’s. When I look back at her life and death, I think about: Her laughter. She loved to have fun. Her support. She was always behind me. What she taught me. That her last year was tough. Lung cancer is a death, I do not [Read More Now...]

January Barometer

Getting close to a new year, and many folks are wondering is this going to be a good year or bad year for the stock market. While many folks are wondering, I am waiting for the first 5 days of trading to give me an idea of the market direction this year. You see, there is some correlation between what happens in January, on the S & P, and what happens of for the stock market for the rest of the year. It is called the January Barometer and has 2 parts. Since 1950 it has with a fair degree of correlation predicted what the stock market will [Read More Now...]

Warren Buffet Approach

What can you say, one of the greatest investors of all time. He always seems to pick up a great deal. In fact, that is one of his mantras, find good companies that are distressed by current conditions, and get a great price. Then watch them grow forever! He is seldom a seller of stock. Buffett loves a history of profitability (who does not). He uses the return on equity (ROE) ratio to gauge profitability and trends. In addition, uses return on invested capital (ROC) to kill any high-debt stocks, in his choices. Return on equity is a [Read More Now...]

Set Your Dreams FREE

Dreams are the prisoner of doubt and fear Many folks do not live their dreams, because they are held hostage by their own limitations. And I mean self limiting beliefs. NOT real.  If fear or doubt holds you back you must have a few strategies for killing the fear. To eliminate doubt. To live your dreams.  Strategy: Take a step anyway.  John Wayne said “Courage is being afraid and saddling up anyway”. Successful people realize that on the other side of fear are your dreams. Just take a step. I have done a lot of fire [Read More Now...]

Is Now the right Time?

There is a chinese saying, “May you live in interesting times”.  Well, we are in interesting times. The stock market after a significant rise, looks like it may fall and crash. Interest rates are at their lowest in decades, but talk is they will go up shortly. The real estate market has rebounded, but there are still a number of foreclosures and power of sale, properties in the market place. The Canadian, USA and International economy appears to be slowing. So, a few of my friends and clients are asking, is NOW a good time to be [Read More Now...]

You have been given a death sentence (we all have one by the [Read More Now...]
